This is a land where no pure “humans” exist. When the creatures of this land awaken to consciousness, they take on a form that blends their original nature with a human shape.
Plantfolk, beastfolk, mushroom-folk — once these beings assume human form, they remain so until death returns them to their original state, merging back into the earth. Nature cycles on, endless and alive.

Here’s a polished, natural English translation that fits worldbuilding / fantasy lore (perfect for your tarot setting): It boasts a rich variety of terrains, ideal for all kinds of creatures to thrive. A central forest, snow-capped mountains to the west, desert to the east, volcanoes to the south, and tundra to the north. The main city was carved out within the forest, boasting a high level of civilization. More than 95% of its residents are beastfolk. Out of deep love for the land and their free-spirited way of life, few plantfolk ever leave their natural habitats to settle in towns. Mushroom-folk dwell in the Mushroom Gorge, a rift deep inside the forest, surrounded by steep cliffs where few ever venture. They have lived there for generations, indifferent to the world beyond the woods.  If a brave mushroom-folk ever ventures out, a thin mycelium thread remains connected to them, no matter how far they go,  always guiding them home.

Author's Message

Faint Light in the "Ruins" — The Secretary Bird offered life-saving water to Datura in the desert; the Apple Tree traded ten years of barrenness for a warm nest for the disabled child; the Star fled the Eternal Night Desert with experimental reports in its arms, filled with unwavering resolve.

I wish to convey through this tarot deck: Just as "nature cycles endlessly" in the worldview, the deepest ruins will eventually condense the most resilient light. May you also touch that faint yet scorching hope as you explore it.
Gravel swallows the grassland’s green; rifts trap unrotted fungi — this land takes ruins as paper and mycelium as ink. Wing-broken leaves weave warm nests, catching children shattered by the wind; blind gods discern the wind’s patterns, gathering fragments of light in the mist.

Fear not the spores staining the night — each fungal dust carries the faint glow of stars. The vitality hidden in cracks, the hope clasped in broken branches, will eventually piece together the throbbing star trails on the record pages. These are the whispers of the living ruins, and the chronicles of light.

Datura (the False God) lures followers with "blessings", takes delight in watching them fight, and spawns "death games"; the Venus Flytrap (former disciple of the Secretary Bird, a priest) detects anomalies in the "god" , overturns the Holy Grail, and is banished from rituals.

The Venus Flytrap investigates secretly, uncovers the secret of possession, and allies with the Cyrtanthus — whose sister died in a disaster and who once hostile to the Venus Flytrap, yet harbors resentment towards the god — to jointly imprison Datura. The Cyrtanthus transforms from a "puppet empress" into the true ruler governing the city-state, and order is restored.

Creative inspiration

When creatures die, they revert to their original forms and merge into the earth. Mycelium carries nutrients back to the underground, and the flame patterns on the Lion King’s tail foretell the new monarch upon his fall — this cycle of "destruction, return, and rebirth" serves as the "Chronicles" of Luminescence in the Living Ruins, a tribute to "the symbiosis of nature and life".

Every page of the "Record" is proof of "gleaming light amid ruins" on this land, and a footnote to "endless vitality".

Purrong lingers by the edge of the mushroom forest at dawn, spreading her white downy filaments to catch every dewdrop rolling off the grass blades...

She’d heard from her clan — dewdrops can weaken the spores of the mycelial blight. Carpets of purrongs face east, draped in dewdrops, like a layer of shattered topaz.

    Card Face Comparison

The prototype of the Empress is a Cyrtanthus, born from a great fire. The figure in the picture is the younger of twin sisters; the elder sister died years ago. While secretly investigating her elder sister's cause of death, the younger sister accidentally discovered a shocking secret of the god. To make her keep the secret, the god elevated her to the throne, but she turned around and, together with the Priestess, imprisoned the god under the pretext of protection. The elder sister will be reborn in the flames and then vanish into the wind with the ashes.

Stars are more dazzling in despair. The escaped angel fought for her future, but all subsequent eliminated angels would be forced to be destroyed. In the end, it was she who rescued these lab angels and ended the cruel plan. The Two of Wands focuses on personal courage. There are two paths and two wands in front of the lamb—will she choose the hoe or the staff given by the god? It depends on her decision. As night falls, the girl climbs into bed, tries to close her eyes tightly, and waits for sleep to come, but her mind is extremely clear.
