Giantrider Waite Tarotdeck

Today's ordinary decks of playing cards seeminglydescend from the medieval Tarot decks. As card playingincreased in popularity the Major Arcana cards weredropped (except for The Fool which was retained as the Joker)and the Cavalier and Page were combined into today's Jackthus giving us the standard deck of fifty-two cards plus Joker.

THREE OF SWORDS
Three swords piercing a heart, cloudand rain behind.
Divinatory Meanings: Removal, absencedelay, division,rupture, dispersion, and all that the design signifies naturally.
Reversed: Mental alienation, error, loss,distraction,disorder,confusion.

FOUR OF WANDS
From the four great staves planted in theforeground there is a great garland suspended, two femalefigures uplift nosegays and at their side is a bridge over amoat,leading to an old manorial house.
DivinatoryMeanings: They are for once almost on the surface-country life, repose, concord, harmony, prosperity, peace, and theperfected work of these.  
Reversed: The meaning remainsunaltered-increase,felicity, beauty,embellishment.

FOUR OF CUPS
